The fifth Chinese theatre was located in block 30 between Cormorant and Fisgard Streets. Theatre Alley connected the theatre to Cormorant Street. Fan Tan Alley was already a narrow walkway to the east of the theatre. The Methodist Mission Church, built in 1891 and demolished in 1962, was located on Fisgard Street.
